About the Chef
Born, raised, and educated in the south of England, Susanna became interested in the culinary arts at an early age when traveling to France every year with her family.
In addition to summer work on luxury barges touring the wine districts of Burgundy and the Loire Valley, adventures in India, Africa, and Australia led to a successful ten- year career as head chef on a fleet of privately owned sailing and motor yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and North Atlantic.
The fresh food markets of the Mediterranean and Caribbean were a huge inspiration for Susanna and her blossoming career.
Arriving in Vermont almost 20 years ago, Susanna gained invaluable knowledge and experience working at several of Stowe’s finest restaurants including Villa Tragara and Mes Amis before opening her Private Chef and Catering company in 2003.
Susanna’s Catering is know for amazing food, exceptionally friendly and professional service as well as a reliable and sincere approach to all their clients catering needs.
Susanna continues to grow as a chef, endlessly inspired and excited by worldly travels as well as the constant beauty and incredible bounty that she finds here at home in Vermont.
